Osiris Stevens

Osiris Stevens the founder of Next Step Electric is an accomplished entrepreneur that has founded and sold multiple successful companies across several channels. As a successful business owner Osiris developed innovative core strategies that allowed him to grow and develop skilled management teams. His talents include visionary thought, leadership, business management, as well as sales and marketing. In 2006, Osiris became focused on developing cutting edge technology to create sustainable alternative power and enhance grid outage management for the solar industry. NextStep Electric was born with the desire to bring environmentally safe and revolutionary solar technology to the world. Osiris attended Colorado State University where he majored in design and served as the head coach of the University of Colorado wrestling team. Under his leadership the team enjoyed the largest participation in 28 years for the 2008/2009 season. Osiris currently lives with his wife in Longmont, Colorado.



Andrea Stevens

Andrea is the Senior VP of Sales and Marketing at NextStep Electric and has spent the last 25 years in the business development and the sales and marketing arena. Throughout her career, Andrea has gravitated to entrepreneurial/start-up companies. Her most recently venture was as co-founder of a marketing database company in Colorado, NextAction. Andrea was instrumental in developing the business and strategic plan to launch the company and was also involved in securing VC funding. NextAction grew from just 6 employees’ to 130 employees and 1000 clients, with a valuation of $120 million, in just 5 years under her leadership. Andrea left NextAction at the end of 2007 to pursue new start up ventures and bring her business and marketing skills to a new industry. Andrea attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and lives with her husband and two (very cute) dogs in Colorado.



Bill Gerstner

Bill is the Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at NextStep Electric with over 23 years of entrepreneurial experience working with successful start up companies in multiple disciplines. His expertise including finance, business management, account management, business development, product management and sales management experience. He has held key roles at NDL a marketing database company, now a subsidy of Equifax and Abacus Direct Corporation a cooperative database company, recently acquired by Epsilon. In 2002 Bill co-founded NextAction Corporation, a venture backed start-up. Bill helped the company grow to one of the country’s largest cooperative marketing databases in just 5 years leveraging his business development and sales acumen to build the company’s client base to 700+ companies. Bill holds a BS Degree in Aerospace Science. A Colorado native, he resides in Denver.



Roger “Rusty” Muchmore

Roger is the Director of Operations Management and brings a wealth of expertise in multiple disciplines to NextStep Electrics Operations and Systems management. Roger has spent over 25 years in the information technology and operations arena and has extensive data analysis, system design and implementation experience. His background also includes business capacity planning, budget preparation, managing vendor relationships and capital expenditures. Currently, “Rusty” is attending the Ecotech Institute in Aurora Colorado to obtain his degree in solar/renewable energy and energy efficiency technology.



Kent Schweiss

Kent is the Regional Account Manager for NextStep Electric and brings 26 years of Business Development and Sales Management experience relative to the Building Materials and Construction Industry. He is an accomplished leader in both domestic and international distribution. One of Kent’s pinnacle accomplishments was the ground floor start up of International Marble and Granite Inc. Denver, Colorado, in 1992. As Vice President of IMG, his responsibility for overseeing and developing procedures in sales and marketing for the company resulted in the company’s growth to 4 national locations, as well as an international location in Massa Carrara, Italy. The resulting revenue exceeded $31 million dollars in 2001. Kent also applied expertise as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in both National and Local markets at World Wide Stone Corporation in Scottsdale Arizona. Kent has a long-standing and well-known professional reputation with Architects, Engineers, Developers, and Commercial and Residential Contractors throughout many areas of the United States. He has held affiliate memberships and chairmanships on both local and national levels with Home Builders Associations, Green Build and Leeds Programs, Producers Council, AIA and ASID. Kent was born and raised in Illinois after which he lived in Denver, Colorado 20 years and currently resides in Cave Creek, near Phoenix, Az.
