Job Creation and Our Nations Veterans

An integral piece of the NextStep Electric Municipal Initiative is to create meaningful jobs installing and maintaining the Smart Array 3000 community solar installations, and employ large numbers of your community’s veterans.

NextStep Electric is committed to hiring, training, and educating as many veterans as possible for our Municipal Initiative. A significant number of jobs will be available to install, monitor, and perform ongoing maintenance and updates for the system.

A large number of those jobs will in fact be temporary, but well paying, and many of those employed during the installation phase will be chosen for full time positions for the permanent staff necessary to manage, maintain, and necessitate repairs and upgrades for the life of the system.
